The Waterford One World Centre and the Waterford Area Partnership present a day of information and exploration about the state of the Social Economy in Ireland on Tuesday, 18 October at the Edmund Rice International Heritage Centre.

The day includes presentations from Ms. Lynn Boylan, MEP, and Senator David Cullinane.  The first part of the day will look at the policy and regulatory environment for Social Economy in Ireland including Social Enterprise, Sharing Programmes and Cooperatives. The second part of the day will be a creative session that will focus on idea generation and solutions to barriers that confront organisations working outside the traditional economy.  A light lunch will be served.  This event is free of charge but registration is essential, please contact Lucy on 051 873064 or lucy@waterfordoneworldcentre.com.
