From our friends in Centre for Cross Border Studies

“Dear friends of the Centre for Cross Border.

Put yourself on the map.

We are asking for your help in a new North-South initiative.

The Centre for Cross Border Studies (CCBS) as a member of the North-South Social Innovation Network (NSSIN), would like to ask for a few moments of your time to help in producing a map of Social Innovation projects, organisations and activities on the island of Ireland.

What is it about?

At first we are collecting crowdsourced data and mapping the collaborations, opportunities for collaborations, and spatial distribution of organisations and projects working in the field of social innovation on the island of Ireland.

Once collected, this data will be used to show the different types of collaborations i.e. funding, events, joint projects, and in what areas organisations wish to collaborate in the future.

Result – the mapping tool which will have the form of an on-line data visualisation will allow users to filter collaborations spatially and by different objectives i.e. joint funding applications, joint projects etc. across a range of sectors (e.g. health, justice, education, culture, economy).

and put yourself on the map.

Help us collect the necessary data for the creation of an interactive map which will display existing and future connections.

All data will be publicly available on the website of NSSIN.

We greatly appreciate your help and time.

 Best regards
