The Social Enterprise Mark CIC Conference is being hosted by Aston University in Birmingham on 19th & 20th June.

The conference will challenge participants to think about if growth is always a good thing. With the rich getting richer while the poor get poorer, the current model of economic growth clearly isn’t working for all. We will look at alternative economic models, which address the mounting social and environmental challenges facing us today.

As ever, it is set to be an unmissable event for those involved in social enterprise. We have an exciting line-up of speakers across the two days, including Head of Oxfam’s Future Business Initiative Alex Maitland, Megan Peat of Natwest/RBS Social & Community Capital, academic and social entrepreneur Dr Pragya Agarwal, Jeremy Nicholls of Social Value International, and social enterprise stalwart Nigel Kershaw of The Big Issue Group.
