From the Charity Impact Awards
The Charity Impact Awards 2020 are now open for entries, and we’re here to help you prepare yours.
We invite you to join us for a short online workshop next Tuesday, 15 September, as we explain exactly what’s needed for your application, give tips and tricks for preparing a short video without any special equipment or skills, and answer any questions that you might have.
It’s free to attend, and takes place online from 2pm – 3pm.
About the 2020 Charity Impact Awards
The Charity Impact Awards return for their 4th year in 2020, celebrating the work of charities, community groups and voluntary organisations, and social enterprises that have changed Ireland and the world for the better.
Now, more than ever, we see the vital role that such groups play in society. They provide a vast range of services, supports, and opportunities to our communities, and have been a lifeline during the COVID-19 crisis this year.
Our awards recognise these achievements, shining a light on the crucial work done by those who are often too busy making a difference to tell the world about it.
You can enter in the following categories:
- Impact Award (with sub-categories for small, medium-sized and large organisations)
- Trustee of the Year Award (nominate your board members)
- Social Enterprise of the Year Award (for organisations and enterprises that go above and beyond to embed positive values into their business operations).
It’s easy to enter: submit a short video (no longer than 60 seconds) and complete the entry form. The short video below explains the video requirements.
