Welcome to the launch of the Irish Social Enterprise Network website, socent.ie. We are back (formerly Social Enterprise.ie), and we are here to help in the development of social enterprise and social entrepreneurship in Ireland.
We have a vision: an Ireland where the potential of social enterprises to contribute to economic development and strong communities has been fully realised – we want to make social enterprise work in Ireland.
The Irish Social Enterprise Network is here to help support, network and connect social enterprises in Ireland, to get their idea off the ground or to take their social impact to the next level.
We are only just beginning to develop a thriving social enterprise sector here, but we can’t do it alone. We believe that everyone on the network can help in navigating the supports and the opportunities available.
