23 June to 26 June

23 June – 18:00 – 22.00

Evening get together. Kick-off session with people talking about their projects, ideas, fears and goals.

Part of the whole 4 days will involve working on a collaborative project to highlight some of the learnings during the 4 days. Participants will be working in small groups to define a concrete path forward, the milestones and steps needed in order to bring the project to fruition.

The evening will also include a working dinner with guest speaker Joan Mulvihill – CEO of the Irish Internet Association and Creative Practitioner.

24 June – 9am – 19:00

Full day of training looking at value propositions, why, purpose, impact, audiences, customers, relationships to customers, resources, partners, clients, and more!!!!

There will be a lot of practical parts and group interaction.

We will have some bits for the evening but these will be networking and engagement orientated. The idea is to give participants the time to digest and talk or to find a space to be quiet and relaxed.

25 June 9am – 19:00

Again following on from the previous day and moving forward with the business development plan. Today we look more at marketing and channels to market as well as grants, applications and revenue. Plus the part we all underestimate, costs.

We will have some bits for the evening but these will be networking and engagement orientated. The idea is to give participants the time to digest and talk or to find a space to be quiet and relaxed.

26 June 9am – 19:00

Rounding it all off. One of the main aspects of today will be crafting a story and how to present that story. Hence participants will have to make at least one presentation each. One on the group project you have been working on and the other on your own story, your own business. We will help people to produce their presentations and look at ways in which presentations can use unusual props, techniques and delivery methods. We will also look at nerves and confidence in speaking to a group of people.

Please note that not all of the events / sessions will take place indoors. Some of the sessions will be outside as we need to take people out of their comfort zones and into a different environment, be that forest, beach or open fields.

We have a number of guest speakers / session leaders lined up whom we will confirm over the course of the next couple of weeks.

These include experts in business models, online marketing and grant / project / funding applications.

The maximum number of participants will be 18.
