Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur 2016 - SocEnt.ie

Could you be Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur?

Now in its 3rd Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur is a dynamic competition open to entrepreneurs aged 18-35.

Applications are now open in the three categories – Best Business Idea (pre-trading), Best Start-Up (under 36 months) and Best Established Business (over 36 months).

The competition starts out at county level. Each of the 31 Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) across the country has a prize fund of €50,000 to share between three county winners. 93 county winners then advance to Regional Finals, vying for a place in the National Finals next Spring. At the National Finals in Google 3 entrepreneurs will be named national category winners with one being crowned Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur. Collectively they will share a further prize fund of €100,000.

But it’s not just about the money. Yep – winning valuable investment in your business is great. But right from the very start, IBYE participants benefit from business mentoring and advice, superb business boot-camps to streamline and strengthen their business proposition and often gain valuable media profile for their enterprise.

As one of the IBYE 2015 finalists said: “Enter IBYE for more than the competition – do it to help grow yourself as a business owner. Do it to meet like-minded people and learn from each other. Do it to get outside your normal tunnel vision and envision a better future for your business. Just do it.”

The deadline for completed applications is 14th October … but why put it off, go on, start your application today by – click here – www.ibye.ie.
