In this month’s Talkin’ Cooperation we have Tiziana O’Hara from Cooperative Alternatives Northern Ireland and Tim Cookson, longtime Dublin Food Co-op staff member and founder of Common Ground Bray. Tim and Tiziana will each speak about their own experiences working within the cooperative sector. They will also talk about why a focus on community is so important with in the cooperative movement.
Talkin’ Cooperation is a series of talks hosted by Dublin Food Co-op. Guest speakers with backgrounds in cooperatives, community organising, sustainability and environmental issues are invited to speak on a panel or individually about these topics. The aim of these talks is to generate participation and conversation so the speakers will be taking lots of questions after a short presentation. The talks will all take place at the Inchicore Social Club and are donation based.
