From our Partners in Social Economy Europe

Delighted to announce that the European Commission’s Guide on Socially Responsible Public Procurement to which SEE contributed with good practices that boost social economy through public procurement has been published!

“Public buyers are major investors in Europe, spending 14% of the EU’s GDP. By using their purchasing power to opt for goods and services that deliver positive social outcomes, they can make a major contribution to sustainable development. Increasingly, the need to address all three pillars of sustainability (social, environmental and economic) in procurement is recognised by both the public and private sectors.”

A big thank you to all the public authorities and social economy actors who helped us collect good practices to encourage boosting the social economy through public procurement.
