We were delighted to kick off our Ideas Academy 2021 progamme on Thursday, 17th June. This year we have 60 participants from across the country working to develop their ideas into actions. Over the next three months, participants will be supported to clearly articulate, refine and progress their solution to a social problem. The programme will conclude with the opportunity to pitch for seed funding from a total pot of €50,000.
Our launch event provided a chance for programme participants to learn more about how the progamme works and learn about some of the other projects and ideas being developed by their peers. Participants also received some words of encouragement from Tim Griffiths (CEO of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland), Ursula Mapley (COO of Bank of America, Lead Corporate Sponsor of the Ideas Academy), and Maurice McQuillan (CEO Lifes2good Foundation, Sponsor of the Ideas Academy West). A great start to this year’s programme!
The Ideas Academy is supported by Bank of America (Lead Corporate Sponsor)
Lifes2good Foundation (Sponsor of Ideas Academy West)
and the Tomar Trust (Supporter of the Ideas Academy South)
