ICYMI: SEWF22 Program

Planning on travelling internationally to Brisbane for SEWF22?

1. Fringe events: Add on a day and/or extend your stay to get the most out of your trip and join some of the exciting fringe events on offer (more information in the image above).
2. Visas: Need a visa? Then be sure to apply for your visa ahead of time.
3. Covid restrictions: Travel restrictions have recently been lifted for international travellers to Australia (find out more). But be sure to check for updates before travelling in case of changes.
4. Insurance: SEWF recommends that all international travellers purchase travel insurance.

A chance to win $40,000 during SEWF22 at the Funding Network Crowdfunding Event!

The TFN Hybrid Crowdfunding Event will be held during SEWF22 on 28 September. Three finalists will receive professional coaching and the chance to raise an estimated $40,000each. An online information session will be held on Wednesday 13 July, from 12-1pm AEST.

Last month, a co-design process kicked-off to develop shared values and principles for the Australian social enterprise sector on how we agree we will work together. The values included authenticity, creativity, justice, collaboration and diversity. These common values and behaviours are to strengthen the basis for ongoing cooperation. Read more. →

SAP Young Professionals Program

The Young Professionals Program is a free initiative delivered by the SAP Digital Skills Centre. The program lasts for 3 months and is designed to give recent graduates the certifications and soft skills required to begin a career as an SAP Associate Consultant.

This is designed for women-led social enterprises focusing on building impactful solutions in culture, mindset, and education. The program is both remote & online and accessible to companies across MENA + Africa. Selected social enterprises will get a $2,000 grant to support the enterprise’s needs and potential impact.
