At the Irish Social Enterprise Network (ISEN), we are committed to supporting social enterprises to thrive and scale their impact. One of the most effective ways we’ve done this is through our ongoing partnership with Trinity Business School’s Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programme.
This year, we’ve had the pleasure of connecting social enterprises with talented MBA students who bring fresh perspectives, practical skills, and a passion for purpose-driven work.
Through this partnership, the following organisations have received tailored support:
-
JumpAgrade – helping improve educational equity through personalised academic support;
-
MyMind – expanding access to vital mental health services;
-
Loaf Catering – supporting social inclusion through employment and training opportunities;
-
Hair Together – working with young people through creative education and mentorship;
-
BounceBack Recycling – combining environmental sustainability with inclusive employment.
These student-led projects focused on social impact measurement, business development, marketing, market research, and strategies for scaling. The results have been incredibly positive—helping enterprises tackle key challenges while giving students real-world experience with values-driven organisations.
We’re proud to collaborate with Trinity Business School to bridge the gap between academia and social change, and we look forward to supporting even more enterprises in the months ahead. A huge thanks to Prof. Sheila Cannon and her timeless efforts and work.
If you’re a social enterprise looking to take part in future collaborations, or would like to learn more about this project, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@socent.ie or grdoncm@tcd.ie.
